Talent Guardian are working with a well‑established business based in Poole who are looking to appoint an experienced Funeral Director to join their dedicated team. This is a highly rewarding and important role, supporting families during one of the most difficult times in their lives. You will play a key part in ensuring funeral services are delivered with professionalism, compassion and attention to detail.
The Role:
- Meeting with bereaved families to arrange funeral services in line with their wishes
- Providing guidance on all aspects of funeral planning, including legal and administrative requirements
- Coordinating all logistics for funerals, burials and cremations
- Liaising with clergy, celebrants, cemeteries and crematoria
- Overseeing the preparation and presentation of the deceased with dignity and respect
- Managing funeral day operations to ensure everything runs smoothly
- Maintaining accurate records and handling all documentation efficiently
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Funeral Director
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A compassionate, professional and discreet approach
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and procedures
- Ability to manage multiple arrangements in a fast‑paced environment
- Full UK driving licence
