ElectricianLocation: SurreyPermanent | Full-timeTalent Guardian are recruiting on behalf of our client for a qualified and experienced Electrician to join their established team. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a varied role covering installation, testing, maintenance and repair work across a wide range of electrical systems.The RoleAs an Electrician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical installation and maintenance services across properties and plant systems. The role includes testing, inspection and certification of electrical installations, diagnosing and repairing faults, and ensuring systems remain safe, compliant and efficient. You will work on both single-phase and three-phase systems, including plant room equipment such as motors, pumps and fan coil units. The position also involves supporting lighting systems, emergency systems and coordinating with specialist contractors to ensure smooth service delivery.Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installation and general property maintenance
- Conduct inspection, testing and certification of distribution boards and fixed wiring
- Install and maintain single-phase and three-phase systems
- Install, modify and repair LED and emergency lighting systems
- Diagnose wiring faults and carry out corrective work
- Maintain plant room electrical systems including motors, pumps and FCUs
- Read and follow site plans and schematic drawings accurately
- Work with and oversee specialist contractors where required
- Participate in seasonal shifts and on-call rotations
- Undertake additional tasks as directed by management within the scope of the role
What We’re Looking For
- Recognised C&G NVQ electrical qualifications
- BS7671 18th Edition City & Guilds
- C&G 2391 (or 2394/2395) Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations
- Full clean driving licence
- Proven experience as an electrician in installation, maintenance and repair
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a proactive and safety-first approach
