We are seeking a skilled and qualified Electrician to join one of our clients, working on a variety of electrical installation and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will be experienced, self-motivated, and capable of delivering high-quality work both independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems, with occasional travel to project sites as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in accordance with industry standards and regulations
  • Conduct inspection and testing of electrical systems and complete associated documentation
  • Work with lightning protection systems
  • Interpret and work from technical drawings and electrical plans
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently and safely
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety and adhere to company procedures
  • Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and management
  • Travel to project sites as required (with some overnight stays possible)

Qualifications Required

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (BS 7671)
  • Inspection and Testing qualification (e.g., City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent)

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience with lightning protection systems
  • Proficient in installation, maintenance, and repair of various electrical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
