We are seeking a skilled and qualified Electrician to join one of our clients, working on a variety of electrical installation and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will be experienced, self-motivated, and capable of delivering high-quality work both independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems, with occasional travel to project sites as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in accordance with industry standards and regulations
- Conduct inspection and testing of electrical systems and complete associated documentation
- Work with lightning protection systems
- Interpret and work from technical drawings and electrical plans
- Diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently and safely
- Maintain high standards of health and safety and adhere to company procedures
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and management
- Travel to project sites as required (with some overnight stays possible)
Qualifications Required
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (BS 7671)
- Inspection and Testing qualification (e.g., City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent)
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience with lightning protection systems
- Proficient in installation, maintenance, and repair of various electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
