Are you an organised, confident and proactive credit controller with a passion for delivering excellent customer service? Our client, a growing family business, is seeking a Credit Controller to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in managing customer accounts, ensuring smooth cash flow and working with an excellent team. What You’ll Do Act as the main point of contact for customer account queries, building and maintaining strong relationships. Monitor and control customer debts, prioritising cash flow and minimising risk. Evaluate new and existing accounts for creditworthiness and recommend appropriate credit terms. Manage reconciliation tasks, including customer portals and integrations (EDI). Create and distribute account statements, overdue letters, and credit status reports. Collaborate closely with sales and finance teams to resolve issues and improve processes. Provide exceptional service while adhering to strict procedures. Key Skills & Experience Credit control experience. Strong organisational and time management skills. Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and accounting software. A customer-focused approach with excellent communication and relationship management abilities. Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills. Resilience and the ability to thrive under pressure and manage high workloads. A friendly, confident and personable personality!
