We’re seeking a Commercial Head of Cleaning & Waste to lead high-performing teams, drive efficiencies, and shape the future of environmental services across a major London venue. The Role As the Commercial Head of Cleaning & Waste, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of cleaning and waste management across a large-scale, high-footfall venue or event environment. With a clear focus on sustainability and innovation, you’ll ensure service excellence while managing budgets, teams, and senior-level stakeholder relationships. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the full scope of cleaning and waste operations, ensuring optimal service delivery across the site. Develop and implement sustainability initiatives, driving environmental best practices. Manage the full P&L, ensuring strong financial performance and cost control. Provide regular reports, analysis, and strategic insights to board-level stakeholders. Champion innovation and continuous improvement across all cleaning and waste services. Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, facilities, sustainability, and event teams. About You Proven experience leading cleaning, waste, or environmental services in a complex or large-scale environment—ideally venues, stadiums, or event settings. Strong commercial acumen with demonstrable experience in P&L ownership and financial reporting. Excellent communication skills, with confidence presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders. A genuine passion for sustainability, efficiency, and service excellence. A results-driven mindset with the ability to think strategically and deliver operational impact.
