Talent Guardian are on the lookout for a talented and dynamic Middleweight 3D Creative Designer with expertise in environment, interior, or retail design for our client based in Lutterworth. The ideal candidate will have a compelling portfolio demonstrating innovative and creative thinking, alongside 5-8 years (or more) of experience in retail and commercial design. A deep passion for brand storytelling and consumer insights is essential.
As a 3D Designer, you will take the lead in developing exceptional design solutions that push the boundaries of creativity. Working closely with the Creative Director, you will contribute to the development of design strategies that bring brand-led transformation to life.
- Take ownership of creative projects, delivering innovative and engaging design concepts.
- Continuously strive to improve and refine creative processes, raising the bar for yourself and the team.
- Ensure all deliverables to clients are consistently innovative and of the highest standard.
- Act as an effective communicator, confidently challenging briefs and explaining the implications of design choices.
- Participate in client meetings, taking briefs, presenting concepts, and representing D4R with professionalism and creativity.
You will manage the creative process effectively, ensuring smooth project delivery and maintaining technical excellence.
- Collaborate with account managers, the studio team, and the technical department to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Proficient in 3DSMax, VRay, Vectorworks, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Possess a solid understanding of retail design, including manufacturing processes, fabrication techniques, and construction technologies.
- Work directly with contractors and manufacturers to ensure that designs are feasible and executed to the highest quality.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, consumer behaviour, and retail strategies, providing insights to the team and clients.
- Manage time effectively, balancing independent work with collaborative efforts within the team.
- Understand project pathways to ensure that creative assets are delivered on time.
- Proactively communicate potential resource needs to the Creative Director and the wider team to ensure smooth project execution.

The role offers a competitive salary in the range of £35,000 – £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
