An established and growing property investment and management business is seeking a full-time Lettings Negotiator / Property Manager to join its team. This is a permanent position working 37.5 hours per week (9:30am - 5:30pm with a 30-minute lunch break), including at least two weekend days per month.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for a combination of lettings and property management duties, including:
- Travel and visiting properties in areas such as Bradford, Leeds, Rochdale, Manchester, Pudsey, Liverpool, Lancaster, Wigan and Chorley
- Conducting property viewings
- Preparing snagging lists and reporting maintenance requirements
- Completing inventories and check-out reports
- Managing move-in and move-out appointments
- Liaising with and instructing contractors
- Supporting the ongoing management of a residential property portfolio
Initially, the role will be office-based. Once fully established in the position, there will be the opportunity for hybrid or home working, with some office attendance required as needed. The business is continuing to expand its portfolio, offering genuine progression opportunities for the right individual.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in lettings and/or property management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service ability
- High attention to detail
- Confidence, resilience, and strong problem-solving skills
- The ability to work independently and manage their own workload
- A full, clean driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential, as the role involves regular travel between properties. (Mileage will be reimbursed in line with standard government guidelines).
