We are recruiting for an experienced Civils / Groundworks Engineer with proven Openreach telecoms civils experience to support ongoing fibre network build projects across the UK. This role is based in the highways / street works environment and involves excavation, ducting and chamber installation, and reinstatement works to a high standard. We are offering a salary bracket of £30,000 - £38,000 - DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE.
Key Responsibilities
- Civils and groundworks for telecommunications infrastructure
- Openreach ducting and chamber installation
- Excavations (hand dig and machine dig)
- Duct route works and support for fibre network builds
- Reinstatement works including tarmac, slabs, concrete, block paving, and verges
- Working to Openreach standards, job packs, and site drawings
- Working in line with NRSWA street works requirements
- Following RAMS and site health & safety procedures
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in telecoms civils / Openreach civils
- Experience working on highways / street works sites
- Strong health & safety awareness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Qualifications
- NRSWA Street Works
- CSCS Card
- CAT & Genny
- CPCS or NPORS (excavator / dumper)
- Full UK Driving Licence
