We are working in partnership with an established and growing residential childcare provider to appoint an experienced Registered Manager for a children’s home supporting young people with complex needs. This is a key leadership position offering full operational responsibility for the home.

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for the management of the children’s home, ensuring the service meets Ofsted regulations and the Children’s Homes Quality Standards at all times.
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of young people, embedding a strong safeguarding culture throughout the home.
  • Lead, develop, and supervise the staff team, creating a positive and professional environment that supports staff performance.
  • Drive positive outcomes for young people and improve Ofsted ratings where required.
  • Manage budgets and ensure the home operates efficiently and sustainably.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager within a children’s residential setting.
  • Strong working knowledge of Ofsted regulations and inspection processes.
  • Holder of, or working towards, a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to develop and motivate teams.
  • A genuine passion for delivering outstanding care and improving the lives and outcomes of young people.
