An established and growing property investment and management business is seeking a full-time Lettings Negotiator / Property Manager to join its team. This is a permanent position working 37.5 hours per week, typically 9:30am to 5:30pm with a 30-minute lunch break. The role also requires availability for at least two weekend days per month.
The successful candidate will take on a varied role combining both lettings and property management responsibilities across a growing residential portfolio. The position will involve travelling to properties across a number of locations including Bradford, Leeds, Rochdale, Manchester, Pudsey, Liverpool, Lancaster, Wigan and Chorley. Initially, the role will be office-based in Rochdale for the first two weeks to support onboarding and training. After this period, the position will transition to primarily home working, with occasional office attendance as required.
Key Responsibilities- Conducting property viewings with prospective tenants.
- Preparing snagging lists and identifying maintenance requirements within properties.
- Completing detailed inventories and check-out reports.
- Managing move-in and move-out appointments.
- Liaising with contractors to arrange and oversee maintenance works.
- Supporting the ongoing management of the company’s residential property portfolio to ensure properties remain well maintained and fully occupied.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one years’ experience within lettings and/or property management and will be confident working in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with excellent customer service ability and a high level of attention to detail. You should be confident, resilient and capable of solving problems independently while effectively managing your own workload.
RequirementsDue to the travel involved in the role, a full clean driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential. Mileage will be reimbursed in line with standard government guidelines.
