About the Role

We are urgently seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to lead our care service in Worksop.

As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring outstanding care, compliance with CQC standards, and the smooth operation of all aspects of the service.

This is an opportunity for a proactive, experienced manager to make a real difference to residents/clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead the care service in line with CQC standards and regulations.
  • Ensure high-quality care and the safety, wellbeing, and welfare of all residents/clients.
  • Lead, motivate, and support a team of care staff, fostering professional development and a culture of excellence.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including care plans, risk assessments, and staff documentation.
  • Conduct audits, monitor performance, and implement improvements to maintain standards.
  • Manage budgets, staffing, and resources efficiently.
  • Act as the main point of contact for families, professionals, and external agencies.
  • Ensure readiness for CQC inspections and any regulatory compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing a care service in line with CQC standards.
  • Knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standards.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care (or equivalent) preferred.
  • Ability to make decisions in the best interests of residents/clients.
  • DBS check clearance and eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Willingness and ability to apply for CQC approval as Registered Manager if not already registered.
