Talent Frame are pleased to be working with a global Law Firm who are looking to hire a Business Development Executive. This is a hybrid role, working 2-3 days per week in London.
The ideal candidate will be able to manage the execution of projects from start to finish, provide support to the BD Managers on a wide range of initiatives, and be comfortable assisting with Fee Earner meetings.
Key Responsibilities:- Working with the Partners and Fee Earners in the production of credential statements, pitch documents and PowerPoint presentations, marketing material (including brochures and client briefings), bids and other client communications.
- Supporting with event planning under the instruction of a BD Manager. Coordinating Partner and Fee Earner attendance and supporting material for externally organised conferences and exhibitions.
- Preparing documentation for business development meetings including agendas, emails, business development schedules and other documents.
- Supporting the BD Managers in implementing business development activities including: planning, organisation and project management of a wide range of client-focussed events and digital sessions and effective follow-up activity.
- Keeping the CRM system up to date.
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience working as a BD Assistant or Executive within a Business Development function in the legal or professional services field.
- Good desktop publishing skills, particularly PowerPoint and Word, and shows strong willingness to develop tech skills.
- Excellent written skills, able to produce good quality first drafts.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage different workstreams for each of the BD Managers, and to use initiative wherever possible.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines and stay calm under pressure.
- Demonstrates a positive can-do attitude and shows initiative to support the BD Managers.
- Proactive and self-sufficient with the ability to take ownership and manage certain tasks with limited guidance.
- Personable and confident, able to build relationships with partners/key stakeholders.
- A flexible and can-do approach, willing to provide varied support across various different departments when required.
- A team player who is collaborative and self-motivated.
- Good attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
- Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
