Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Junior People Partner / HR Officer to support the HR team in a brand-new role, which sits across a broad range of administrative and operational activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about developing a career in Human Resources to gain hands-on experience across all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a range of administrative support to the People Partners in the delivery of their employee relations work.
- Assist casework, including taking accurate and confidential notes.
- Support the coordination and administration of a wide range of people related activities.
- Assist with payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and timely data input.
- Maintain and update HR systems and employee records.
- Prepare HR related documentation such as letters, reports and other correspondence.
- Support onboarding processes.
- Ensure HR data is handled in line with College policies and data protection requirements.
- Act as a first point of contact for HR queries.
Skills & Experience
- Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail.
- Experience using HR systems or similar databases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Good administrative and time management skills.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work.
- Previous HR administration experience (desirable but not essential).

Qualifications
- CIPD Level 3 (or working towards) desirable.
