We are seeking an experienced National Business Development Manager to join a leading product distribution organisation. This role will drive national growth, lead a small UK sales team, and manage key customer relationships across the North, Midlands, South East and South West regions.
About the Role
- Lead, mentor, and develop a small UK business development team.
- Drive national new business activity across multiple regions and market sectors.
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and commercial teams to deliver tailored product solutions.
- Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and product demonstrations.
- Deliver national sales, margin, and growth targets through effective planning and team leadership.
About You
- Proven success in national B2B sales or business development, ideally within product distribution and technical product sectors, ideally within construction/building.
- Experience managing or developing a small sales team.
- Strong relationship builder with excellent communication and commercial skills.
- Target-driven, strategic, and comfortable leading UK-wide activity.
- Full UK driving licence essential.
Whatβs on Offer
- Base salary: Β£50,000 β Β£60,000 (DOE)
- OTE: Circa Β£70,000 -Β£80,000
