We’re looking for a hands-on Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to support a unique, historic venue ensuring it remains fully operational, compliant and event-ready at all times. This is a dynamic role combining planned maintenance, reactive support, and live event engineering.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain and support mechanical systems across site
- Carry out inspections, testing and PPM
- Supervise contractors and ensure safe delivery of works
- Support live events, resolving mechanical & basic electrical issues
- Maintain compliance documentation and risk assessments
Requirements:
- Level 3 NVQ / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or recognised apprenticeship
- Experience in FM / building services environments
- Strong mechanical knowledge + basic electrical fault finding
- Flexible approach (on-call, evenings, weekends as required)
