We’re looking for a hands-on Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to support a unique, historic venue ensuring it remains fully operational, compliant and event-ready at all times. This is a dynamic role combining planned maintenance, reactive support, and live event engineering.

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintain and support mechanical systems across site
  • Carry out inspections, testing and PPM
  • Supervise contractors and ensure safe delivery of works
  • Support live events, resolving mechanical & basic electrical issues
  • Maintain compliance documentation and risk assessments

Requirements:

  • Level 3 NVQ / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or recognised apprenticeship
  • Experience in FM / building services environments
  • Strong mechanical knowledge + basic electrical fault finding
  • Flexible approach (on-call, evenings, weekends as required)
