Have you delivered transfer pricing documentation end‑to‑end within a complex, multi‑entity business? Have you supported tax audits or controversy processes and built defensible TP positions? Are you comfortable working independently, turning incomplete information into clear, structured outputs?
The opportunity:
This is a contract role within a large, global organisation operating across multiple jurisdictions, following a significant operating model change. You will be stepping into a partially defined environment where information is not always readily available. Success will come from your ability to navigate the business, challenge stakeholders, and build structured outputs from incomplete inputs. This role suits someone who is practical, delivery‑focused, and comfortable working at pace in a complex, matrix environment.
The role:
You will support the delivery of transfer pricing workstreams following a global transformation, ensuring positions are robust, documented, and defensible. This is a hands‑on role focused on execution. You will:
- Deliver transfer pricing documentation end‑to‑end in line with OECD Transfer Pricing principles.
- Build and strengthen documentation and supporting files for tax authority scrutiny and potential controversy.
- Support audit defence and enquiry processes.
- Translate operating model changes into workable intercompany policies and TP positions.
- Work across the business to gather, validate, and structure information relating to intercompany transactions.
- Identify risks, challenge assumptions, and resolve issues pragmatically.
- Produce clear, accurate outputs (memos, filings, documentation) to tight deadlines.
- Keep senior stakeholders informed of progress, risks, and issues.
You will be expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy and take ownership of delivery.
What we're looking for:
Must-have:
- Transfer pricing experience within a large, international business or advisory environment.
- Experience delivering transfer pricing documentation (not just supporting).
- Exposure to tax audits, enquiries, or controversy processes.
- Strong understanding of OECD Transfer Pricing and intercompany frameworks.
- Ability to work independently and deliver in unstructured environments.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
Nice to have:
- In‑house transfer pricing experience.
- Experience supporting operating model changes or post‑transformation environments.
- Exposure to APA or BEPS‑related work.
- Background combining practice and industry experience.
This role will not suit candidates whose experience is primarily advisory without hands‑on delivery of documentation and audit support.
Working environment:
You will be part of a collaborative tax team, working closely with senior stakeholders while maintaining autonomy over your workload. The environment is fast‑moving and requires someone comfortable with pace, ambiguity, and accountability. Hybrid working is in place, with flexibility around office presence (typically 1‑2 days per week). Initially contract through to year‑end, with potential to extend. No sponsorship or relocation offered.
