The opportunity

This is a hands‑on Regional PMO Lead role within a newly created business following a carve‑out from a major FMCG organisation. The environment is fast‑moving, under‑defined, and delivery‑focused. This is not a theoretical or framework‑led PMO. The role exists to create grip, clarity, and momentum across a regional change portfolio during a critical separation and stabilisation phase.

What you will actually be doing:

  • Owning regional PMO governance across multiple countries and workstreams
  • Creating clear portfolio visibility and prioritisation
  • Driving commercial outcomes (risk reduction, faster decision‑making, cost control)
  • Challenging senior stakeholders when delivery is at risk
  • Acting as a single point of accountability, not a reporting layer

This is not a PMO analyst, reporting, or assurance role.

Essential experience:

  • Proven experience leading a PMO at regional or enterprise level
  • Carve‑out / divestment experience is essential
  • Ability to articulate impact and outcomes, not just PMO activity
  • Experience working at pace in FMCG, consumer, or similarly commercial environments
  • Confident operating in ambiguous, changing organisations

Nice to have:

  • Exposure to private‑equity‑backed environments
  • Experience stabilising organisations post‑separation

What this role is not:

  • Not a PMO analyst or coordinator role
  • Not a purely IT or ERP PMO
  • Not a low‑pressure, highly structured environment

Working pattern: Hybrid, with regular on‑site presence in Slough expected. No sponsorship or relocation offered.
