Quick facts: £55,000-£60,000 + £6,120 car allowance + 10% bonus | National Account Manager – Amazon | Maidenhead | Hybrid: 2-3 office days per week | 12‑month FTC with strong likelihood of permanent opportunity.

Do you have e-commerce, Amazon, or online retail account management experience in FMCG, retail, or an e-commerce‑led business? Have you worked with e-commerce trading, retail media, performance marketing or digital shelf optimisation? Are you confident operating in a fast‑paced, highly visible matrix environment with multiple stakeholders and commercial priorities? Are you a commercially driven National Account Manager looking to deepen your ecommerce and Amazon capability in a role with real ownership, pace and long‑term opportunity?

This is a hands‑on Amazon and e-commerce commercial role focused on driving online performance across a major retail account. You'll join a lean, growing ecommerce team where accountability is high, visibility is strong and proactive people succeed. This role suits someone who naturally builds relationships, takes ownership and enjoys improving performance rather than simply maintaining an account. It is not a pure e-commerce strategy role, and it is not a traditional grocery NAM position focused mainly on store activation. Although initially structured as a 12‑month FTC, the e-commerce function is growing rapidly and the need behind the role is viewed internally as long‑term. There is strong potential for permanence for the right individual.

The opportunity:

  • You will take ownership of a major Amazon 1P retail account, working closely with ecommerce, media, marketing, supply chain and wider commercial teams to improve online sales performance and execution.
  • The environment is collaborative, commercially demanding and highly visible.
  • This role works best for someone who enjoys operating cross‑functionally and proactively identifying opportunities to improve performance.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing day‑to‑day Amazon and e-commerce account performance.
  • Driving ecommerce trading activity across pricing, promotions and online execution.
  • Supporting online growth through retail media, performance marketing and digital activation.
  • Monitoring sales, forecasting, availability and promotional performance.
  • Supporting launches, retail readiness and digital shelf optimisation.
  • Working with Amazon Vendor Central and ecommerce reporting tools.
  • Analysing online trading data to identify risks and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborating daily with e‑commerce, marketing, media, agency and supply teams.

What they are looking for:

  • Must‑have experience:
  • National Account Manager, e‑commerce account management or online retail commercial experience.
  • Experience within FMCG, retail or an e‑commerce‑led business.
  • Strong commercial mindset with proactive ownership mentality.
  • Comfortable operating in fast‑paced, matrix organisations.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and analytical capability.
  • Experience across e‑commerce trading, digital shelf or online retail execution.
  • Exposure to retail media, performance marketing or Amazon Advertising.
  • Experience within large, complex organisations.

  • Desirable experience:
  • Amazon 1P or Amazon Vendor Central exposure.
  • Experience across e‑commerce trading, digital shelf or online retail execution.
  • Exposure to retail media, performance marketing or Amazon Advertising.
  • Experience within large, complex organisations.

Why this role stands out:

  • High‑visibility role within a growing e‑commerce function.
  • Genuine opportunity to deepen Amazon and e‑commerce capability.
  • Strong cross‑functional exposure across commercial, e‑commerce and marketing teams.
  • Clear long‑term opportunity beyond the initial FTC structure.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Amazon/ecommerce NAM experience managing online retail performance within FMCG or ecommerce‑led businesses.
  • Strong commercial mindset with exposure to Amazon, e‑grocery, digital activation, retailer media, forecasting, promotions and online growth drivers.
  • Comfortable operating in fast‑paced matrix organisations with high stakeholder visibility.
  • Confident analysing sales and performance data to identify opportunities, improve execution and drive account growth.
  • Experience across ecommerce account management, online trading, retail readiness and cross‑functional collaboration preferred.

No sponsorship or relocation offered.
