Finance Trainee – Full Study Support (ACCA or CIMA) Hybrid – 2 days per week in office (Oxford) Right to work: : Applicants must have the permanent right to work in the UK and not require current or future visa sponsorship. Unfortunately, we are unable to consider candidates on temporary visas (e.g., Graduate Visa) A unique opportunity for an aspiring accountant to work for a multinational business within their finance shared service centre. They are offering a supportive learning environment to enable your accounting career to really take off. The team you will become part of operates as an internal customer service function delivering specific reporting and accounting services to business units. Your role would be to provide a high quality and reliable service ensuring that all tasks are completed within agreed cycle times. They are offering full study support for CIMA or ACCA. Responsibilities (when fully trained): Accurately complete tasks within the asset finance process (funding facility) Reconcile the AR roll-forward and cash books, ensuring a full audit trail is available for banking partners. Own and produce reliable weekly management reporting to agreed deadlines. Become the subject matter expert delivering weekly tasks such as agency timesheets, purchase cards and intercompany schedules. Create and post journals with full workings and save on a central repository, including accruals, prepayments or recharges. Reconcile GL accounts and provide balance sheet reconciliations. Seek to improve internal customers' experience by working within a team to identify problems and implement agreed solutions. Period close activities and audit support. Requirements Skills: Degree educated. Aspiring to study (or recently started studying) CIMA/ACCA – essential. Excel skills (including PivotTables, Sumifs & Vlookups) – essential. Experience in AP & AR ledgers – desirable. Experience with SAP – desirable Personal attributes: Aspirational and ambitious – eager to learn.
