Are you an analytical and commercially minded Assistant Merchandiser ready for your next challenge? This established menswear retailer, known for its focus on quality, style and smart design, is seeking an Assistant Merchandiser to support its growing merchandising team. You’ll play a key role in managing the product lifecycle - from initial buy through to delivery - helping to forecast, plan and trade the range to maximise sales and profitability. Working closely with Buying, Marketing and Finance teams, you’ll ensure stock targets are met, deliveries stay on track, and trading opportunities are identified and actioned.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Merchandiser in forecasting, planning and trading the department.
- Manage WSSI, sales forecasting, intake and stock levels.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure smooth production and delivery schedules.
- Conduct sizing, pricing and seasonal performance analysis.
- Coach and develop the Merchandising Admin Assistant.
About You
- Previous experience as an MAA or Allocator in a retail environment (ideally fashion).
- Excellent numerical, analytical and organisational skills.
- Confident communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment.
- Strong Excel and data management skills.
