Our client is hiring a Marketing Director to lead a talented, multi-disciplined team across brand, flagship event/show campaigns, partnerships, content, creative and digital activation.
After a year of change, this is a pivotal opportunity for an experienced, low-ego leader to embed smart ways of working, strengthen capability, and deliver integrated, insight-led marketing that supports clear commercial and growth goals.
What you’ll be doing:
- Set the marketing vision: goals, strategy, priorities and performance metrics
- Shape positioning and brand proposition and ensure a consistent voice across audiences year-round
- Lead integrated planning across brand, shows/events and partnerships to create a single view of audience engagement
- Build operational excellence: clear workflows, prioritisation, transparency and measurable impact
- Partner with Sales and operational leaders to position the organisation as an industry leader
- Drive insight: capture audience intelligence, translate data into decisions, and optimise performance
- Oversee delivery across:
- Show/event marketing (acquisition + retention across exhibitors, buyers/visitors, speakers, press)
- Brand campaigns (consistent, high-quality execution)
- Partnership marketing (campaigns with strategic partners to extend reach)
- Content strategy (editorial, long/short form, distribution-led)
- Creative (on-brand multimedia output and on-site experience)
- Digital activation (web, social, email, apps, automation, innovation)
