Management Accountant
Wilmslow £30,000£35,000 + Study Support Hybrid working | Three days per week on site We are partnering with a successful and growing global technology services organisation to appoint an ambitious part-qualified or finalist-level Management Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to move beyond routine accounting and develop into a commercially minded finance professional. You will work closely with an experienced Finance Director who will provide hands-on mentoring, exposure to senior stakeholders and support towards completing your professional qualification. You will take ownership of a broad range of management accounting responsibilities, including: Preparing monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments and journals
Producing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting the month-end close
Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
Preparing variance analysis and providing clear commentary on performance
Supporting cash-flow reporting and working-capital management
Partnering with stakeholders across the business to improve financial understanding
Helping to develop management information, reporting and financial controls
Supporting audit requirements and wider finance projects
Identifying opportunities to improve and automate existing processes

This role would suit an ambitious accountant seeking greater responsibility, high-quality mentorship and a clear path towards becoming a well-rounded Management Accountant and future finance leader. About you
You will ideally be: Part-qualified or approaching finalist level in ACCA, CIMA or ACA
Experienced in month-end accounting and preparing management information
Comfortable working with Excel and financial systems
Analytical, accurate and confident communicating with non-finance colleagues
Proactive, curious and keen to understand the wider commercial picture
Ambitious to develop your career within a growing international business
