We are seeking a diligent and empathetic Police Station Accredited Paralegal to join our Criminal Law team in our St. Albans office. This role is ideal for a paralegal who is seeking a training contract, which may be offered following a successful six-month probation period.
As a Case Worker, you will collaborate closely with solicitors in handling cases involving criminal charges, investigations, trials, and other criminal law matters. This role provides an opportunity to develop your legal career while making a tangible difference to clients navigating complex legal processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Conduct thorough initial consultations with clients to gather information regarding their legal matters and personal circumstances
- Undertake comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy
- Coordinate with clients, opposing parties, and relevant professionals to collect evidence and exchange information
- Maintain meticulous case files, ensuring accuracy and organisation of all documentation
- Assist in scheduling court hearings and meetings on behalf of clients
- Attend court hearings and other legal proceedings as necessary, taking notes and assisting with case presentation
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to professional standards and ethical guidelines consistently
