The Opportunity
This is an excellent role for a solicitor in the early stages of their career seeking to gain experience in residential property and looking to develop within a supportive, high‑performing team. You will manage a varied caseload while benefiting from the guidance of experienced colleagues, giving you the balance of autonomy and structured development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Handling a busy caseload of freehold and leasehold sales, purchases and re‑mortgages
- Managing files from instruction through to completion
- Providing clear, timely updates and advice to clients and agents
- Progressing matters efficiently via a Case Management System
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across other service lines
- Supporting business development and marketing initiatives
- Contributing to team objectives and the continued growth of the Lytham office
About You
We are looking for a solicitor who:
- Has 1–2 years’ PQE in residential conveyancing/property
- Can confidently manage their own caseload with appropriate supervision
- Demonstrates strong organisational and time‑management skills
- Has excellent communication and client‑facing abilities
- Shows keen attention to detail and a proactive mindset
- Ideally has experience using the SOS case management system (desirable, not essential)
