The Firm is a fast-growing, civil litigation firm specialising in financial litigation, particularly business energy secret commission claims and other financial mis-selling cases. Based in the heart of the City, the firm works with a network of introducers, barristers, and insurers to pursue complex claims in a fast-moving legal market.
About the Role
This is a key litigation hire as the business continues to scale. You’ll manage your own caseload of litigation matters – particularly in the business energy claims space – and work alongside a collaborative legal and operational team.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle a caseload of litigation matters from start to finish
- Draft pleadings, witness statements, and correspondence
- Liaise with clients, barristers, insurers (defendants), and introducers
- Advise on legal strategy and case prospects
- Contribute to team collaboration and wider business development
- Maintain compliance with SRA and firm-wide standards
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
- Minimum 3 years’ litigation experience
- Business energy or financial mis-selling experience helpful but not required
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client-handling skills
- Commercial awareness and an appetite to grow or contribute steadily
- A “can-do” attitude, high standards, and enthusiasm for the work
- Collaborative, and confident in a fast-paced office
