About Us

We are a fast-growing litigation funder providing non-recourse finance to law firms and legal service providers across the UK. Our work spans a wide range of legal sectors - from financial mis-selling and data protection to housing disrepair, consumer claims, and more. By funding and monitoring these cases, we help law firms pursue meritorious claims while managing their cash flow and risk.

The Role

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with either prior experience in a legal environment - such as legal secretary, paralegal or case handler. Or even someone currently undertaking or recently completing legal studies - particularly at postgraduate level - who is looking to build practical experience within litigation progression, case analysis, and legal operations.

As a Legal Claims Auditor, you will be responsible for reviewing and auditing funded claims. You'll work across a portfolio of cases in various areas of law, collaborating with multiple panel firms who each have different operating procedures. This variety offers a unique window into how different firms run litigation and how claims are built, managed, and funded in practice.

You'll play a key role in ensuring that the claims we fund meet internal and regulatory standards, helping to ensure commercial viability, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review legal case files across different areas of civil litigation to assess compliance with funding criteria and regulatory expectations.
  • Conduct audits of ongoing and completed cases to identify any risks, anomalies, or procedural issues.
  • Collaborate with borrower relations, underwriting, and finance teams to evaluate the completeness and viability of cases.
  • Communicate with law firms to clarify inconsistencies, highlight missing information, and ensure audit findings are actioned.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of internal audit processes and checklists.
  • Stay informed of changes in the legal landscape that may impact funding eligibility or case progression.

Who We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who combines legal knowledge with curiosity and analytical thinking. You don't need to be fully qualified - but you should be reasonably confident navigating legal documents and able to extract a clear understanding of the narrative behind a case.

This role would suit someone who:

  • Has an understanding of English legal procedures, particularly civil litigation.
  • Enjoys detail-focused work and reviewing case materials critically.
  • Is confident drawing inferences from complex information and summarising key issues.
  • Can manage their time independently and communicate clearly with internal teams and law firms.
  • Wants to see how different legal service providers operate in real-time.

Why Join Us?

Unlike traditional legal experience, where you may be confined to one area of law within one firm, this role gives you exposure to multiple areas of litigation across a broad panel of law firms, each with their own unique approaches to case handling, client management, and operations.

Full training will be provided. Flexible working hours - whether you're looking for a few hours a day or certain days per week, we'll work around you. Training budget £500 per year. Gym contribution. Gain insights into a wide variety of legal claim types and funding models. Build practical experience in both law and finance. Develop a strong understanding of risk, compliance, and case viability. Contribute to a growing sector where legal knowledge and commercial awareness intersect. Work in a flexible, supportive environment that values initiative and learning.
