18T HIAB Driver | Witham | Full Time | £18.00 per hourOur client is a leading manufacturer, supplier and installer of temporary fencing, site hoarding and barriers, operating across more than 20 locations in the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe. Each year, they produce more than 1.6 million units and serve a wide variety of sectors, including construction and security.
The RoleThey are seeking a skilled 18T HIAB Driver to join their Witham Depot. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient, safe and timely deliveries and collections, while providing a professional service to customers and supporting the depot team when required.
Key ResponsibilitiesComplete all scheduled deliveries and collections, following specific instructionsProvide high-quality customer service during deliveriesEnsure activities at the depot and customer sites comply with health and safety standardsMaintain safe handling practices when using the HIAB hook attachmentComplete all required documentation accurately and report any issues or discrepanciesMaintain clear and accurate delivery recordsAssist with yard duties, including loading and unloading, stock organisation and general depot supportWork with the depot team to maintain smooth daily operations and a tidy, safe working areaRepresent the company professionally when dealing with customers, suppliers and colleaguesCarry out daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance requirementsKeep the vehicle clean, organised and compliant with company and legal standardsComplete driver documentation, including tachograph records, in line with company policies and regulationsMaintain compliance with relevant transportation and safety regulationsWhat We're Looking ForClass 2 HGV Licence with proven driving experienceHIAB Licence with hook attachmentFamiliarity with the safe operation of a HIAB hook attachmentExperience with ratchet straps and secure loading techniquesStrong attention to detail when completing documentation and following regulationsAt least 1 year of driving experienceWhat's In It For You£18.00 per hourFull-time, permanent positionCompany pensionFree parkingOn-site parkingWhat's next?
