Are you the right person for the job?
- Proven experience as a welder/fabricator
- SVQ or City and Guilds qualified to level 3
- Proficient in welding techniques such as Tig / Mig on both mild and stainless steels
- Capable of passing Tig & Mig coding's
- Can interpret specifications, drawings, and instructions
- Can demonstrate a clear understanding of the sequence of events required to fabricate a product from start to finish
- Committed to adhering to company health and safety policy and procedures
- Ensure the safe use of hand tools and machinery
- Willingness to learn new skills and continually progress through the business
What will your role look like?
- Utilise TIG and MIG welding techniques to fabricate high-quality components from mild and stainless steel, adhering to industry standards and specifications
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and verbal instructions to ensure accurate production and assembly
- Operate and maintain workshop tools and machinery safely and efficiently, including grinders, saws, and welding equipment
- Conduct routine inspections on fabricated items
- Adhere to all company health and safety regulations, wearing PPE and maintaining a clean and organised workspace
