The Role
We are seeking a skilled Welder & ADHOC Yard Worker to join the manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for high-quality welding, fabrication support, and general yard duties, ensuring all work meets strict safety and quality standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Execute TIG welding and other welding techniques on various materials, including sheet metal and structural components.
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, shape, and assemble metal parts.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to accurately complete welding tasks.
- Assist with the assembly of metal structures and components, ensuring proper fit and finish.
- Conduct inspections of welds for quality assurance, adhering to safety regulations and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, following health and safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
Essential
- Proven experience in TIG welding.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent attention to detail, precision in welding tasks, and adherence to safety procedures.
Desirable
- Previous experience in assembly work involving metal components.
