Our client is an established company that manufactures plain & printed labels for a wide variety of clients based across the UK. They pride themselves on the fast turnaround services provided to their long-standing customer base. They require a machine operator for the production of plain and printed self-adhesive labels. The new team member will contribute to their success by being adaptable and self-motivated.
The Role
The successful candidate will learn to make and print labels using the flexographic printing method and be able to operate a machine unsupervised on completion of their training. They will also have the opportunity to get involved in all aspects of the manufacturing process within a busy but friendly environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Setting up and running a machine according to the job specification provided
- Checking quality and working to deadlines
- Packing finished products for despatch
- Working in a small team within the production area
- Assisting with the operation of other machines within the factory as required
