Candidates with CNC setting experience who also have CAD/CAM exposure would be highly desirable, although full CNC programming experience is not essential for the right individual. Shift flexibility may also be available, including: Monday Thursday: 05:30 14:30 Due to continued growth, investment in new machinery, and the introduction of additional multitasking bar-fed equipment, our client is seeking a CNC Setter / Operator to support their manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating CNC machinery, ensuring components are manufactured accurately and efficiently while supporting improvements across production processes. Setting and operating CNC machines to produce precision-engineered components Selecting appropriate tooling and supporting efficient manufacturing methods Editing CNC programmes where required Carrying out quality checks using conventional inspection and measuring equipment Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within production Previous CNC machining experience within a manufacturing environment Strong CNC setting and operating experience Confident using inspection and measuring equipment Experience with twin turret or multi-axis CNC machines Ability to write and edit CNC programmes CAD/CAM experience would be highly advantageous Experience with CNC programming on multi-axis twin turret lathes Competitive salary of £36,000 £42,000 depending on experience Relocation packages available Flexible working arrangements where operationally possible Training and upskilling opportunities Long-term job security within a growing business Performance-based salary reviews and progression opportunities If you are an experienced CNC Setter / Operator looking for a stable role within a growing precision engineering company, we would love to hear from you.
