About the Role
Are you a highly organised bookkeeper who also enjoys providing administrative support? Our client, a well-established manufacturing business in Runcorn, is looking for a reliable and hands-on Stock Controller / Bookkeeper to join their close-knit team. This is a varied role, with approximately 80% bookkeeping and 20% PA/admin tasks, giving you the opportunity to make a real impact across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping & Accounts (80%)
- Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping using Sage (Line 50 / SIM-50)
- Support the implementation of a new SIM-50 stock control system
- Assist with stock control and margin calculations using Sage and Excel
- Produce clear and accurate reports on efficiencies, profits, and waste
- Provide day-to-day support to the Managing Director
- Manage diary, meetings, and correspondence
- General office administration and document control
Skills & Experience
- Strong working knowledge of Sage (Line 50 / SIM-50)
- Experience with stock control
- Previous bookkeeping experience
- Excellent numerical and reporting skills
- Highly organised, discreet, and able to work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Confident communicator with strong attention to detail
