Job Type / Hours: Full-time, Permanent | 19:00 – 05:00

Salary: £38,000 – £55,000 per year (dependent on experience and hours worked)

They are seeking a reliable and motivated Night Operations / Warehouse Operative to join their busy warehouse team. This role combines hands-on warehouse duties with operational support and customer liaison, making it perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, night-time environment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring night operations run smoothly, stock moves efficiently, and customers receive excellent service.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing night-time warehouse operations and supporting colleagues
  • Loading, unloading, and moving stock safely and efficiently
  • Operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment
  • Liaising with customers via phone, email, and in person
  • Completing basic administrative and operational tasks
  • Maintaining a safe, secure, and organised working environment
  • Assisting with problem-solving and operational improvements
  • Occasional HGV shunting if qualified

Qualifications

  • Forklift licence required
  • CO trained with 5 years’ verifiable employment history
  • Class 1 (C+E) licence for occasional HGV shunting, an advantage
  • Experience in fast-paced logistics or warehouse environments, an advantage
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, email)
  • Previous warehouse and/or night operations experience preferred
  • Strong communication and customer-focused approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and flexible
