Job Description Class 2 HIAB Driver | Reading, RG7 4NU | Full Time | £18.00 per hour \n With over 20 offices and depots across the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe, our client is a market-leading manufacturer, supplier and installer of temporary fencing, site hoarding and barriers. \n The company manufactures more than 1.6 million units every year and leads the industry in innovation and sustainability, supplying solutions to a wide range of sectors, from construction to security. \n The Role \n As a Class 2 HIAB Driver, you will be responsible for completing deliveries and collections safely and efficiently, providing a professional service to customers and supporting the wider depot team when required. n Key Responsibilities \n \n Complete scheduled deliveries and collections, following customer and site-specific instructions \n Provide a professional and reliable service when representing the company at customer sites \n Operate the HIAB safely, including the hook attachment, in line with relevant procedures \n Ensure activities at the depot and customer sites comply with health and safety requirements \n Complete all required delivery and driver documentation accurately, including tachograph records \n Report any delivery issues, discrepancies or other concerns promptly \n Assist with yard duties, including loading, unloading, stock organisation and general depot support when required \n Work collaboratively with the depot team to maintain smooth daily operations and a safe, tidy working environment \n Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance requirements \n Keep the vehicle clean, organised and compliant with company and legal requirements \n Ensure loads are secured safely using appropriate techniques, including ratchet straps \n \n Requirements \n Essential \n \n Valid Class 2 HGV licence \n Proven Class 2 driving experience \n Valid HIAB licence with hook attachment \n Experience operating a HIAB safely \n Experience using ratchet straps and securing loads \n Good understanding of relevant transport and health and safety regulations \n Ability to complete driver and delivery documentation accurately \n Good communication and customer service skills \n Ability to reliably commute to Reading, Berkshire, or relocate before starting \n \n Desirable \n \n Previous experience delivering to customer sites \n Experience working within a depot, yard or logistics environment \n \n What's In It For You \n \n £18.00 per hour \n Full-time, permanent position \n Company pension \n Free parking \n On-site parking \n \n Please note that as part of the selection process, candidates will be asked to undergo a DVLA License check prior to proceeding to the interview stage. n Your data will be handled in line with GDPR. \
