Our client delivers beautifully designed, bespoke buildings across Lancashire, Cumbria, and the North West. They operate through specialist teams that collaborate seamlessly to provide a full concept-to-completion service. We are looking for a Senior CAD Technician with strong Revit skills to join a friendly, dynamic, and ambitious team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse mix of residential projects, including modular, timber frame, and system-built homes, within a close-knit, collaborative environment.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • 3–4 years of strong experience using Revit, with solid AutoCAD skills.
  • SketchUp is a bonus, but not essential.
  • Proven experience in architectural, engineering, modular building, or manufacturing design.
  • Excellent understanding of traditional and modern construction methods, materials, and off-site manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in residential, timber frame, modular, steel frame, or related sectors preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Friendly, team-oriented, and proactive with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Able to travel to a rural location; a driving licence is essential.
  • Candidates should be within a 45-minute commute from Mawdesley (including Preston, Manchester, Liverpool, North Preston areas).

What will your role look like?

  • Produce coordinated 3-D Revit models and high-quality AutoCAD technical drawings.
  • Develop detailed production and construction-ready drawings.
  • Generate material take-offs, component schedules, and BIM-related documentation.
  • Work collaboratively across architecture, engineering, manufacturing, and design teams.
  • Lead and manage aspects of the technical design process from concept to delivery.
  • Liaise with specialist suppliers and manufacturers, providing technical guidance.
