As a Sales Manager you will be responsible for driving growth by building and nurturing strong relationships with key account customers and identifying new opportunities that will have a significant positive impact on the business. They’re looking for a self-motivated, proactive and experienced professional who is passionate about sales and excels in a fast-paced environment and has a proven sales/account management track record. Proven experience in leading and developing a sales team to success Previous account management or B2B sales, preferably within a related industry Minimum of 4-6 years experience in sales/account management/business development Proven track record of managing multiple key customers and achieving or exceeding sales targets/KPI’s Excellent open and clear communication skills to listen, understand, sell and close deals over the phone Strong leadership skills, with a commercially orientated mindset. Ability to understand technical products and explain products to customers Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle challenging situations Proactive approach to outbound sales calls to existing/lapsed/new customers base. Positive mindset & strong work ethic Rapport and relationship building Solid experience of working on Sage Good organisational and administrative skills Full UK Driving Licence What will your role as Sales Manager look like? Team development: develop the sales team to ensure morale, knowledge and skill levels continue to increase enabling the team to meet strategic company sales targets and provide a service that exceeds our customers expectations Managing and building strong relationships with top customer accounts and increasing sales of those accounts Act as a role model to promote positive team behaviour and ensure the team are motivated to increase sales and effective at maximising opportunities Providing support to the team and customers: Resolve any issues and provide solutions to in a timely manner Personally deliver and develop the team to provide high-level service and identify upsell opportunities Achieve and exceed personal and team sales and profit targets with emphasis placed on maintaining and developing repeat customer business. Understand customer needs and provide expert advice on suitable solutions Implement strategic opportunities with the sales team to enhance sales, customer satisfaction and retention Provide support: Offer after-sales support, resolve any issues and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner dentify, contact and develop sales of new trade account customers Possess a strong understanding of the companys products, the competition in the industry and positioning, keeping up with industry trends Re-engage lapsed clients and pursue new business opportunities Handle commercial negotiations with customers Have a thorough understanding of the business processes and adhere to them as well as develop a full understanding of the whole business model Work closely with the Marketing Manager on the marketing and promotional strategy.
