Our client is a family-run business with over 40 years of experience in the motor industry. They are currently seeking a skilled, experienced, and reliable Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join their team in Blackburn. As an Independent BMW & Mini Specialist garage and part of the Bosch Car Service network, our client takes pride in offering a high-quality alternative to dealership servicing, while also maintaining and repairing a wide range of other vehicle makes and models.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualified in Vehicle Maintenance and repair
  • MOT Tester preferred, but not essential, as training will be given
  • F-Gas preferred, but not essential, as training will be given
  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Professional and presentable appearance with good communication skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and within a team

What will your role look like?

  • Carrying out Vehicle diagnostics
  • Carrying out Vehicle servicing, replacement of brakes, clutches, tyres, cambelts and general vehicle repairs
  • Carrying out paper and digital management of customer, vehicle and parts information
  • Management of tracking and security of vehicle keys
  • Ensuring the workshop is clean and complies with Health & Safety Regulations
  • Liaising with the Service Adviser to ensure that jobs are managed in a timely manner
  • Reporting to the Master Technician
  • Working in a safe and tidy manner

What can you expect in return?

Competitive salary up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. 25 days annual leave plus.
