Job Description
Residential Conveyancer | Remote-First (Wadebridge Office Occasional Attendance) | Flexible hours (25 per week) £30,000£40,000 DOE (pro rata)

The role offers:
- The role is remote-first, with office attendance in Wadebridge, Cornwall, required from time to time for team and key client engagement.
- Highly flexible working patterns including school-friendly hours, compressed hours or 23 days per week
- 25 hours per week, with the opportunity to increase hours over time if desired
- Discretionary bonus scheme

- 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata for part-time)

Are you the right person for the job?
You will be a Qualified Legal Executive, Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer with solid experience in residential conveyancing (commercial experience is a bonus, but not essential).
You should have:
- Around 1+ year PQE (more experience is welcome)
- Experience managing files from instruction through to completion
- The ability to work to deadlines with strong self-management skills
- Confidence working in a digital environment, including LEEP, InfoTrack and similar systems
- Full competence in Microsoft Office
- Experience handling:
- Residential and commercial freehold & leasehold
- New builds
- Shared ownership
- Transfer of equity
- Is professional, dedicated, and able to support a growing caseload
- Is a strong team player with excellent communication skills
Comfortable using digital case management systems
Holds a current Practising Certificate (any restrictions must be disclosed)

What will your role look like?
This is a hands-on residential conveyancing position. Depending on the candidate, you will either support two existing fee earners while managing your own caseload or primarily handle your own files.
The role is remote-first, with office attendance in Wadebridge, Cornwall, required from time to time for team and key client engagement.
Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting existing fee earners with or handling their own residential and possibly commercial conveyancing files independently from instruction to completion
- Preparing and reviewing contracts, transfers, pre-contract enquiries and completion documentation
- Land Registry applications
- Drafting reports on the title and completion statements
- Dealing with AML, ID and SOF compliance
- Liaising with clients, agents, lenders, and solicitors
- Maintaining accurate digital case files
- Ensuring compliance with CQS and SRA requirements
- Supporting the wider conveyancing department as the workload grows
