Our client is a team of highly qualified Registered Building Inspectors operating across Yorkshire, Humberside, and Lincolnshire. Are you the right person for the job?
- Registered Building Inspector – Class 2A (non-negotiable)
- Confident in plan checking and site inspections
- Strong organisational, record-keeping, and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and people skills for stakeholder liaison
- Able to work independently and manage a daily inspection schedule
- Full driving licence and able to travel locally (approx. 7–8 inspections per day)
What will your role look like?
- Undertake plan checking for building control submissions in line with regulations
- Carry out site inspections across an allocated area, including Class 2A surveillance work
- Liaise regularly with structural engineers, contractors, and internal teams (within standard working hours only)
- Maintain accurate records and reports using our database system (AIP)
- Focus on technical inspection work alongside associated reporting and administrative responsibilities
- Manage your workload, inspection schedule, and projects autonomously while meeting targets
- Ensure all work complies with BICOF guidance and regulatory standards
- Travel is regionally focused and tailored to your location for efficiency
