Are you an experienced Temporary Works Engineer looking for your next challenge? Our client is seeking a Project Engineer with strong expertise in temporary works, particularly in formwork and falsework design, to join their team and hit the ground running.
This is a key position within their engineering team. You will be responsible for managing and delivering high-quality temporary works designs and solutions for the construction sector, including infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will bring both deep technical knowledge and a proactive, can-do attitude.
Are you the right person for the job?
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Chartered or working towards chartership (ICE or IStructE) preferred
- Extensive experience in temporary works design, especially formwork and falsework
- Proven ability to carry out structural calculations and produce clear, detailed drawings
- Strong understanding of construction methodology and safety regulations (e.g., BS5975)
- Ability to work autonomously and make quick, confident decisions
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
