Our client is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Store Manager with warmth, confidence and excellent customer service skills. The successful candidate will be proactive, ready to hit the ground running and motivated to take on the challenge of running an established coffee shop with a strong team in place.
The Role
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the coffee shop
- Lead, motivate and manage a team of 8
- Recruit, train and manage the performance of team members
- Work alongside the Assistant Manager and Head Barista
- Drive sales and profitability
- Monitor and achieve key KPIs including net sales, year-on-year growth, product availability, customer reviews and wait times
- Maintain product %
- Maintain a customer review target of 4.75 stars
- Maintain a target wait time of 3 minutes
- Deliver excellent customer service and professionally handle customer complaints and escalations
- Ensure high standards of quality, cleanliness and food safety are maintained
- Manage stock ordering and availability
- Create and manage staff rotas to meet the needs of the business
- Motivate the team and maintain high levels of staff engagement
- Ensure the store operates efficiently during busy periods
- Work flexibly across opening, closing, weekend and Bank Holiday shifts as required
