SHEQ Administrator in Preston

The Role
We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented SHEQ Administrator to support our Safety, Health, Environment and Quality team.
Working within a busy manufacturing environment, you will help maintain company documentation, monitor compliance, support audits and ensure health, safety, environmental and quality records are accurate and up to date.
You will work closely with colleagues across the business, supporting day-to-day SHEQ activities and helping maintain company standards and compliance with relevant legislation and ISO management systems.
Key Responsibilities
Incident Reporting: Maintain and update accident, incident and near-miss records and reporting systems.
Documentation & Compliance: Keep policies, procedures, the legislation register, risk assessments, safety manuals and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) up to date.
Audits & Reporting: Support internal SHEQ audits, inspections and compliance checks. Prepare reports and compile data for safety and quality meetings.
Training Coordination: Maintain employee health, safety and environmental training records and matrices, and help arrange refresher training.
Quality Assurance: Support quality documentation, customer complaints, non-conformance reporting and corrective actions.
Environmental Compliance: Maintain environmental records, including waste management documentation, compliance licences and environmental performance data.
Supplier & Accreditation Support: Assist with supplier compliance checks, accreditation documentation and maintaining relevant records.
