An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Senior Support Worker or Team Leader to join a growing care organisation delivering high-quality support across both adult and children's services. This position is ideal for an established senior care professional who is ready to take the next step into management. The role offers a clear pathway towards becoming a Registered Manager in the future.
You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of services, helping to maintain compliance, developing staff teams, and ensuring high standards of person-centred care are consistently delivered.
Key Responsibilities- Support the day-to-day operational management of adult and children's care services
- Carry out unannounced spot checks and quality monitoring visits
- Complete, review, and update care plans and risk assessments
- Gather service user feedback through satisfaction surveys and monitoring
- Lead staff meetings, supervisions, and performance reviews
- Support staff development through mentoring, training, and guidance
- Assist with safeguarding processes, audits, and wider quality assurance activities
- Maintain awareness of Ofsted requirements and children's service regulations
- Work closely with senior management to drive continuous service improvement
- Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker, Team Leader, Deputy Manager, or similar leadership role
- Experience working within both adult and children's care services
- Good understanding of Ofsted requirements within children's services
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Adult Care and/or Children's Residential Care
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Working towards or holding a Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification
- Ambition to progress into a Registered Manager position
- Competitive salary of £26,000 - £32,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)
