Our client is a well-established legal practice in Morecambe, providing independent legal services to their local community. Their offices employ the latest technology, meaning they are able to act for clients anywhere in England and Wales. They offer a wide range of traditional and specialist legal services, including dedicated Commercial, Family, Private Client and Conveyancing Departments, allowing them to offer the breadth of legal expertise expected from a professional firm of solicitors.
What will your role look like?
- Independently managing commercial property sales, purchases, and lease transactions
- Conducting property due diligence and preparing legal documentation, including drafting and negotiating contracts and transfers
- Advising clients on refinancing and liaising with finance companies and third parties
- Calculating SDLT returns and submitting HMLR applications
- Managing risk and complaints in accordance with SRA and AML regulations
- Building professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and apprentices, contributing to the growth of the practice
- Maintaining your SRA practising certificate and staying up to date with professional standards

- Qualified Solicitor with experience in commercial property transactions (ideally 3-5 years experience)
- Strong understanding of property funding, SDLT, and HMLR processes
- Excellent negotiation, drafting, and client relationship skills
- Able to work independently and manage your workload effectively
- Committed to maintaining professional standards, confidentiality, integrity, and ethical practice
