Our client is a family-run property business based in Southampton, founded in 2006, with roots through their parent group dating back to 1983.
They manage a diverse portfolio across Southern Hampshire — from studio apartments to three-bedroom houses — and welcome tenants from all backgrounds, including those on Universal Credit and housing benefits.
They are a growing business looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and customer-focused Junior Property Lettings Negotiator to join their successful lettings team.
The Role
As a Junior Property Lettings Negotiator, you will support the lettings process, build strong relationships with landlords and tenants, and help grow the lettings portfolio while delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Register and qualify prospective tenants
Arrange and conduct property viewings
Negotiate tenancy agreements between landlords and tenants
Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants and clients
Generate new business opportunities and assist in growing the lettings portfolio
Manage property enquiries via telephone, email and in person
Ensure compliance with current lettings legislation and company procedures
Assist with tenancy progression and administration where required
Requirements
Essential
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Professional appearance and a positive attitude
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
Previous experience in lettings, estate agency, sales or customer service
Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle
Good knowledge of the local property market
