An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Senior Support Worker or Team Leader to join a growing care organisation delivering high-quality support across both adult and children's services.
This position is ideal for an established senior care professional who is ready to take the next step into management. You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of services, helping to maintain compliance, developing staff teams, and ensuring high standards of person-centred care are consistently delivered.
- Support the day-to-day operational management of adult and children's care services
- Carry out unannounced spot checks and quality monitoring visits
- Complete, review, and update care plans and risk assessments
- Gather service user feedback through satisfaction surveys and monitoring
- Lead staff meetings, supervisions, and performance reviews
- Support staff development through mentoring, training, and guidance
- Assist with safeguarding processes, audits, and wider quality assurance activities
- Maintain awareness of Ofsted requirements and children's service regulations
- Work closely with senior management to drive continuous service improvement
Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker, Team Leader, Deputy Manager, or similar leadership role is required, along with experience working within both adult and children's care services. A good understanding of Ofsted requirements within children's services is essential.
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Adult Care and/or Children's Residential Care is required, with a preference for candidates working towards or holding a Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification.
We offer a competitive salary of £26,000 - £32,000 (depending on experience and qualifications), ongoing training and professional development support, assistance with further qualifications, and long-term career development opportunities.
