Our client is an established and growing creative retail business specialising in artwork, homeware, gifts and stationery, with a strong online presence and a number of retail locations. With a creative and customer-focused approach, the business continues to develop its product ranges and digital presence and is now looking for a talented Multimedia Designer to support its continued growth.
The Role
As a Multimedia Designer, you will join a small creative team and work closely with the Design and Brand Manager to help develop and strengthen the brand further. You will create engaging visual content across design, photography, video, email and digital marketing channels, supporting campaigns and product launches from concept through to delivery. Reporting to the Head of Design and Brand, you will work as part of a team of two while collaborating closely with the wider Marketing and Ecommerce Team of three. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working across multiple disciplines and wants to see their creative work have a direct impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Design and Brand Manager with developing the brand and its visual identity
- Create high-quality design assets for website banners and landing pages
- Create content for social media and paid advertising
- Support campaign launches and seasonal promotions
- Ensure all content is visually engaging, on-brand and aligned with marketing objectives
- Design and build email campaigns using Klaviyo
- Create visually compelling email templates
- Work with the marketing team to support campaign planning and execution
- Help optimise campaign performance through design improvements
- Capture product and lifestyle photography and video
- Edit and retouch images to a professional standard
- Maintain consistency in styling, lighting and brand presentation
- Create content suitable for web, email and social media
- Assist with uploading and managing website content, including product imagery
- Support campaign rollouts, product launches and promotional activity
- Ensure digital content is accurate, up to date and conversion-focused
Requirements
Essential
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and InDesign
- Proven experience in product photography
- Background in a multimedia, design or content-focused role
- Experience with photography and image editing
- Good understanding of digital marketing and content performance
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects
Desirable
- Experience using Klaviyo or a similar email marketing platform
- E-commerce or retail background
- Basic video or short-form content creation
- Understanding of customer journeys and online conversion
- Experience working within a creative brand environment
