They bring together three leading property finance specialists with over 60 years combined experience, with a shared goal of disrupting the UK specialist mortgage lending sector and becoming the go-to firm for customers with a passion for property investment.
They are seeking a motivated and professional Mortgage Adviser to join their team. This is an FCA-regulated role, providing expert mortgage advice while delivering exceptional client service.
Are you the right person for the job?
- Minimum 2 years experience as a mortgage adviser (preferred)
- CeMAP qualification (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of FCA regulations and record-keeping requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage client relationships effectively
- Proactive, ambitious, and driven by results
What will your role look like?
- Provide expert property finance advice to clients, ensuring FCA rules and company procedures are followed
- Keep up-to-date with new products, technical developments, and legislative changes within the market
- Maintain compliance with the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, FCA Principles, Rules, and Conduct Rules
- Identify and contact potential clients, gather client information, and assess financial needs
- Conduct research to make suitable recommendations and complete supporting documentation accurately
- Achieve and maintain competent status as defined by the FCA and the firm
- Maintain performance standards in line with Key Performance Indicators
- Undertake Continuing Professional Development (minimum 35 hours per year, of which 21 must be structured)
