Paraplanners | Leeds | Full Time | £35,000 - £45,000 DOE
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00
Our client is looking to appoint two Paraplanners to join their Leeds office, with opportunities available for both a junior and a senior-level candidate.
They are looking for career Paraplanners who are committed to developing within the paraplanning profession and do not have an immediate desire to move into a Financial Adviser role.
The Role
As a Paraplanner, you will provide technical research services to Financial Planners and ensure the preparation of client advice is of the highest quality and delivered efficiently, while mitigating risks to the business.
The role is hybrid, with two days per week working from the Leeds office and three days from home. Mondays are a standard office day, providing the opportunity to work alongside the wider team, learn and ask questions.
Key Responsibilities
·Work alongside Financial Planners in the provision and review of suitable investment propositions
·Discuss client objectives with the relevant Financial Planner, identifying and obtaining the necessary client information to prepare suitability checks
·Understand clients' overall financial position from fact finds
·Maintain high standards of information xgikmsk analysis and undertake comparative research to make suitable recommendations in line with identified client needs
·Accurately prepare suitability reports to target deadlines
·Undertake periodic reviews of existing client portfolios using appropriate software
·Complete technical research as part of the existing arrangement review process
